Kia ora koutou,
My name is Luca, and I’m a new guitar and drum teacher with The Rock Academy. Music has been a huge passion in my life for as long as I can remember. My favourite thing to do is play, sing, and immerse myself in music, whether with my friends in a band, in a choir, or on my own.
I’m currently finishing my gap year after completing high school a year early last year. I spent the first half of this year taking language courses in France and Spain, including flamenco guitar lessons, where I was fortunate enough to learn about the rich influence of music on Spanish culture. I play a variety of instruments and have a wide range of experience from performing in my school orchestra, to rockquest, to playing guitar for our kapa haka group.
I also compose and record my own music, and I share short covers and original songs on social media. I’m so excited to get to know the next generation of musicians and be able to share my passion!
