Is Rock All We Need??

Of course it’s not. Here at The Rock Academy we teach all styles (perhaps not Mongolian throat singing, but we’re not ruling it out in the future!).

Our music teachers specialize in many different genres, including folk, pop, jazz, blues, classical, music production (recording with computers) musical theatre, and country of course.

Rock music remains a strong foundation for beginner pupils. The musical arrangements in rock remain fairly basic but the skill comes in the form of dynamics and the approach. Rock heavily relies of energy, timing and feel. The music has attitude and stimulates a fighting spirit in our young listeners, essential to overcome life's hurdles in their future. Rock musicians are often honest and refuse to compromise truth for fame through deception at all costs. Admirable traits!

That being said we love all music here at The Rock Academy and it's our goal to help our pupils walk the musical path that beckons!
