Jonny Avery worked as a guitar tutor for The Rock Academy for 6 years while he studied at Victoria University to complete his degree and obtain a masters. During that time Jonny climbed to become the head tutor at The Rock Academy working on the school holiday programme (Kilbirnie, Wellington) and running many guitar pupils each week.
Jonny built his studio while he studied, building his client base. Now he enjoys a steady stream of studio clients from Wellington and around the world.
