musicians! ✨
For the past 15 years, I worked as a primary school teacher in Malaysia, specializing in music education. I also served as the accompanist for the school choir and taught piano privately. I hold a Graduate Diploma in primary school music education, a bachelor’s degree in music studies, and a master’s degree in educational management. Currently, I’m pursuing a PhD at Victoria university of Wellington, where I’m researching how augmented reality (AR) can revolutionize music education.
I started learning the organ (instrument) at the age of 10 and reached Grade 6 before specializing in piano during my bachelor's degree, achieving Grade 8. I also passed my ABRSM Grade 8 Theory exam during university. I'm enthusiastic and excited to work with all of you!
