We are thrilled to announce that Atharva is currently available to teach in Wellington's western suburbs, including Karori, Northland, Wilton, Wadestown, Brooklyn, Thornton, Kelburn, Highbury, and Aro Valley. Atharva's teaching style is characterized by his passion for music and his ability to create a supportive and encouraging environment for his students. He has a deep understanding of the importance of building a strong foundation in music theory and technique, and he is committed to helping his pupils achieve their full potential.

At The Rock Academy, we are proud to have Atharva as a part of our team and we are confident that he will make a positive impact on the lives of our students. If you're looking for a passionate and dedicated music teacher in Wellington's western suburbs, Atharva is the perfect choice!

Atharva's Journey When I was just 10 years old, I began playing on an old keyboard that was lying around at home. I was instantly hooked and played every day. Not too long after, I began taking formal lessons and discovered my love for playing and learning new pieces. I've taken Trinity grade exams, but nowadays, at the age of 19, I prefer to learn new pieces on my own.

One of the things I love most about the piano is its versatility. I enjoy a wide range of music, from hip hop to classical to film soundtracks, and being able to play these songs on the piano has always been incredibly satisfying. I find the process of building muscle memory through repetition to be particularly fulfilling, and I take great pleasure in learning new pieces from scratch to build my confidence.

For me, playing the piano has always been a source of comfort after a long day. I am incredibly grateful to have discovered this passion at such a young age and to be able to share it with others who are just beginning their own piano journeys. There is nothing quite like seeing a student's face light up when they master a new piece, and I feel privileged to be a part of their musical growth and development.
