Once a year The Rock Academy put on a concert to give young guitarists the exciting chance to play live.
We teach all the pupils the same songs and get them together for a mass guitar performance that sounds awesome! On top of that we get a couple of professional female singers in to sing on top of the music to give it a real gig feel. The best part about it (for most) is they get paid! We take a small door charge and split it up between all the young guitarists.
We’ll be filming the 2012 concert so if you don’t get a chance to see it live log on here around November and the full performance will be up loaded!
